Organizers: Journal of Internal Medicine (JIM), Genomic Medicine Sweden (GMS) and Centers for Personalized Medicine (ZPM) in Germany

This symposium focuses on how precision medicine will change and improve diagnostics, treatment and prevention, as well as the potential for research and innovation within the precision medicine framework. Focus areas for the symposium are cancer, rare diseases and complex diseases. Best practice examples showcasing how precision medicine has been implemented in Europe will be presented as well as discussions on ethical, legal and technical implications of precision medicine.
